Past Work: Puppets
From the 1960's until 1990 these puppets were created for performances, print media commissions, gallery exhibitions and grant projects. Many are political charicatures and all of them are humorous and disturbing. Bread & Puppet, Meredith Monk, the N.Y.Times, National Lampoon were among the clients who commmissioned the puppets, as well as Diana's "FULL MOON PUPPET THEATER".
The puppets are made from fired clay, wood, paper mache, metal, fabric, etc. They are between ten inches high to eight feet high (with people inside) and include hand puppets; rod puppets; shadow puppets; effigies and masks.
